Planning The Journey
In the course “Evidence-Based Practice (EBP),” we are working on designing a final paper that represents all forms of EBP research. I expect this team project to include consistent communication and performance for the planning process of the final product. What I am referring to by this is that I will hold myself accountable for providing my full effort in including all members of the team in our work. I also expect the same from my peers. All members of this team are close friends, so I don’t believe we will have any issues with being able to communicate our plans and ideas.
If an individual in the group is not participating as often as they should, we will hold an intervention of sorts that will allow us all to explore what is working and what is not working within our group. I will use this method in hopes that we maintain full participation whilst avoiding conflicts. We have all agreed on those terms.
The largest benefit about working as a team falls on the saying, “two minds are better than one.” We will be able to find more information as a team, in comparison to an individual. This serves as an example of how interprofessional nursing will be for all of us in the future. As a future nurses, we will need to work interprofessional teams for the rest of our nursing career. This project will help us further develop our teamwork skills to become efficient in the future.
It is important that we discuss these terms and conditions now within our teams so that we do not lead into complications later in the learning process. In conclusion, we have all decided that this document represents our planning journey on how we intend to work as a team for our final product.
