About Me
My name is Jenna Jacobsen, I am a senior year, nursing student at the University of New England who is nearing my journey of exploring nursing as a soon-to-be registered nurse!
I come from a small town in Western Massachusetts, and take great pride in cultural learning experiences such as Irish Step Dancing. I have danced with the company, Celtic Heels for nearly 10 years, including 4 years of being an assistant instructor. This opportunity has provided me with lots of experiences sharing different forms of dance and entertainment out to my local county. Along with that I have spent most of my free time working with young children and finding volunteering opportunities to partake in within my area.
This site is meant to show my growth at UNE, and is represented by the WordPress software
As an expecting graduate, I have developed a strong foundation in nursing concepts including evidence-based, holistic, client-centered care as well as experience in critical thinking, clinical judgment, delegation, and prioritization. During my time at the University of New England, I have also obtained nursing-based skills such as flexibility, interprofessional collaboration, and versatility. I am thankful for the learning experiences that I have had here at UNE, and I look forward to expanding the horizons on my education, practice, and professionalism along with creating new memories along the way. I look forward to this new career path that lies ahead of me!
